Class Descriptions

 

Cycle Classes: Cardiovascular workouts performed to music on a stationary bike. Fun and easy to learn classes for all ages and fitness levels—
you’ll work at your OWN pace. You must sign up for class at the front desk. We recommended that you wear bike shorts and bring a water bottle
to class. Heart rate monitors suggested. 30-60 min.
*Awesome Abs!: 15-minute classes designed to sculpt and strengthen your midsection! Classes are held upstairs behind the spin room. New to
group fitness? Try an abs class--all fitness levels welcome!
*LES MILLS Body Pump: This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like Squats, Presses, Lifts & Curls. 
*Yoga: Renew your spirit and relax your mind while stretching and strengthening your body.
*Power Yoga is a more athletic-based class focused on core strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. Recommended to bring your own mat.
*Pilates: This class teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. It improves flexibility and agility. It can even help alleviate back pain. It is recommended to bring your own Yoga mat.
*Pi-Yo: A fusion of Pilates and Yoga. It follows a sequence of breathing, heat building and strength movemnets. This class will build strength, flexibility and balance as well as realeasing tension!
*Strong and Stretched Seniors:: This class combines low weight resistance work and light stretching. Perfect for seniors, but everyone
is welcome!
*Zumba: A Latin-inspired dance fitness program designed for all ages and fitness levels. Enjoy the music and have fun! Let go!
*Move & Groove: A mix of latin-inspired dance moves with a little added flare!
*Veteran's Strength & Conditioning: This class is open to all Veterans and members. Must be an independent ambulator with good balance skills for exercise activities.
*Water Arthritis: Designed for individuals with moderate to severe joint problems. Designed to alleviate pain, and improve joint movement,
strength and stamina. Low to moderate intensity level. All exercises can be modified depending on fitness level. Participants should be able to
walk in the pool at low intensity.
*Aqua Move and Groove: Increase aerobic endurance and sculpt the muscles with the natural resistance of the water! No swimming ability
is required.
*Hydro Aerobics: A water exercise class designed for all levels of physical fitness. The water environment puts less stress on your body's
joints while adding resistance to help improve your muscle tone. No swimming ability is required; however participants must be comfortable
in deep water.
